RESISTENCIA (2019)
 

“Resistencia” is a photo series exploring the concept of resistance, a theme I began developing in Colombia and continue to research.

To "resist" today means to confront new forms of exploitation and abuse, defend one’s land, and persevere despite losses and hardship. It is the act of transforming and creating peaceful realities, of holding faith in humanity even when injustice seems insurmountable.

While defining resistance is straightforward, the challenge lies in action—when we must stand against oppression, becoming partisans in the fight for freedom and justice.

This collection captures stories of individuals brave enough to defend our rights. The images document the harsh realities of the desaparecidos—victims of enforced disappearances—and protests against police regimes and state abuse in Colombia.
